Well if it’s good enough for George Clooney…it’s good enough for me! The lakes gorgeous waters flow through the mountains, it’s a beautiful thing…making a trip to this Northwest part of Italy well worth it. The main part of town is true authentic Italy, cobblestone roads and sidewalk cafés, quaint shops and gelato stores every two blocks. Take a trip up the lake on the ferry, it’s relaxing…no I didn’t see Clooney’s digs.

Stay: The Lake Como Grand Hotel Di Como, it’s a modern twist to Lake Como’s vintage hotels. Nestled a short walk from the lake it has a huge front yard with a restaurant and pool. It’s a relaxing and romantic place.
